Why Did I Get Married: The Movie

Scheduled for release in October of this year, Janet Jackson and Jill Scott star in Tyler Perry's screen adaptation of his stage play Why Did I Get Married? The storyline goes as follows, eight married college friends gather in the mountains for their annual seven-day reunion. One couple's infidelity leads to tension and causes the others to consider their own marriage and issues such as secrets, commitment, betrayal and forgiveness.

I am eager to see Jill Scott's performance and I am hopeful for a more seasoned performance from now veteran actress Janet Jackson.
